We had such a fantastic Thanksgiving! Mat's sister Cami flew in on Tuesday night, the boys were so excited to see her. Derek went with Dad to the airport and chatted her ear off on the way home. We went with Cami to Union Station on Wednesday and saw the festival of trees and the boys rode on the mini bullet train there. We even ran into the Shipp family which was a fun surprise!

The boys as the train took off!
Blowing kisses! The boys loved the giant gingerbread house display at crown center

and then we enjoyed fries and milkshakes at Fritz's.

It was a fun day! Dennis, Jackie (Mom and Dad) and Jason (Mat's brother) arrived that night from Texas. Thanksgiving day was filled with football, putting up Christmas lights, playing, delicious food (my favorite meal of the year), scarfing down fabulous pies, planning black Friday shopping and just being together. The Nalders came over and joined us for dinner, it was fun to all be together.

Working on the lights, exchanging hats with Grandpa. Jason, working hard on the lights.

The final result! Mat (along with Grandpa and Jason) always do such a great job on our lights.

The rest of the weekend was filled with fun times. Shopping, Christmas tree hunting, Christmas tree lightings, eating, movies, games and more. It was so great being together. We truly are blessed!
